Smartwatches have been gaining a lot of momentum lately with a couple of announcement and release for these past few months. Let's take a brief look at what are the current release of the round smartwatches and the upcoming ones.
1. Samsung Galaxy Gear S2
Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 has been recently announced and released in October. Probably the best watch which has been released by Samsung with its round design and the uniqueness of the rotating bezel. It is based on Tizen OS ,though has limitation of number of apps compared to Android Wear(AW) but it could be more energy saving compared to AW. Moreover, Samsung has become the lead of the IOT industry which would unlock the potential of this OS possibly near future.Add a comment

This devices comes with three different capacity - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with 5 years warranty. This flashdrive uses a sliding mechanism to swith between the USB(PC,tablet) and micro-USB (for phone).Add a comment
There are going to be a lot of upcoming phones in 2015 but I am going to highlight two of the smartphones that has caught my attention, PuzzlePhone and Yotaphone 2.
Puzzlephone , a Project Ara which is initiated by Google in hope to produce an open hardware platform that could cater to 6 billion smartphones users. As the mobile platform advances too fast, the user might face some difficulty when upgrading their phone. Do they need to buy a new phone just to upgrade parts of the phone? If this is a success, it would totally change the future direction of the production of mobile phones.Add a comment
On 15 Jan 2015, Xiaomi has announced their flagship phones for 2015:- Mi Note and Mi Note Pro as you can see from the pictures above. Do not be confused with the Redmi series (1s and Note). Mi Notes are categorized under high-end phones. Many of us will wonder why there is a shift of focus on their market shares? Ain't the product they announced should be cheap which probably costs less than $300 as many of my friends would ask the same question.Add a comment
I have just received this product for the last few days. I was doubtful about this product at first but to trust in Jlab Audio brand which has gained a lot of recognition from media and critics. All these time, although I have my Backbeat Go 2 as my workout companion, I am still looking for a better Bluetooth earpiece that can satisfy the thirst for the battery power. Backbeat Go 2 can only last about 3-4 hours or lesser if continuously play music plus answering some calls. After browsing some webs ,I found this Bluetooth earpiece that meets my needs which was just released somewhere around November 2014.Not many reviews have been given for this piece of item.Add a comment

Virtual Reality (VR) has become a trend especially in the gaming today. For those of you who doesnt know what VR is, it is a simulated environment whereby it creates an immersive 3d experience for the user. VR has gained massive attention since Oculus Rift started their crowdfunding service in Kickstarter in 2012 which is later bought by Facebook. In fact, a lot of replicas seems to surface in China (e.g ANTVR, Depth-VR )
Even some big companies like Sony and Lenovo has started to introduce their own VR Headset. All this headset cost at least around $300 and it's not a small sum of money . And this is where the Google Cardboard comes in, which costs less than $10 .Add a comment
EZcast is a wireless display dongle that uses Miracast technology and Chromecast is a wireless display dongle developed by Google. Let me gives you a brief comparison between these two.
EZcast can be bought at $20 while Google Chromecast is priced at $35. Actually EZcast uses it own app that support multiple types of connection, not limiting to Miracast only. Other than Miracast , it supports DLNA, Airplay, Wifi Direct (WiDi) and screen mirroing. The one that i have tested is Vsmart v5ii which uses the EZcast . USing its own Ezcast app, it supports resolution up to 1920 x 1080 at 30Hz. Chromecast has the same support too but a lot of people complain about the instability when it's at that resolution. Both of the dongles updates regularly which is a great news for the consumers. Let's take a look at a comparison chart below:-

I just received Truffol strap last week and is impressed with the strap that is nicely wrapped in the box and it comes with a screwdriver.
I have made some picture comparison between the original steel strap and Truffol strap. The Truffol strap slims down the 22mm the Pebble watch case to 20mm in the middle. Compared to the original Pebble steel strap, the Truffol strap is quite even throughout the width of the whole strap. The butterfly clasp of the strap makes it easier to unlock it but just a little bit hard to close it . As for the design wise, the link between the Truffol strap suits me. (feels more manly compared to the finer and smaller links of the original).Add a comment
